Noilly Prat is a vermouth created in 1813 by Joseph Noilly in Marseillan, south of France.
His son Louis Noilly (1801-1865) founded a first company in Marseille in 1843.
Claudius Prat (1824-1859) takes over the management of the company.
In 1855 the Noilly Prat brand was born thanks to the association of Louis Noilly with Claudius Prat.
In 2013, Noilly Prat, celebrates its 200th anniversary, marking 200 years of production of one of the best French vermouths in the world.
