Bank founded by François Casati. Previously named Banque François Casati & Cie, the bank took the name of Crédit Marseillais in 1927.

The bank will invest in industry, particularly in the Coder brothers' company (railway equipment), the Chaux et Ciments R. Boyer company, the Saint-Louis refinery company, etc. Head office 24 rue de la Darse, Marseille and offices 15 Cours du Chapitre.
