The director was prosecuted in 1908 for indecent exposure and sentenced to a month's suspended prison sentence, which could explain the liquidation of the company...

The place housed many artists' studios. In 1908, a 400-seat cinema was inaugurated in the former workshop building: first the Folie-Pigalle, then the Cinéma-Odéon, the Pigalle-Studio, the Pigalle-Palace, and finally the Pigalle cinema.
