Rotisserie de la Reine Pédauque Company
Cert. of 20 Shares of 100F each - Paris 1956
Headquarters 6 rue de la Pépinière, Paris.
Statutes filed with a notary in Beaune (Côte d'Or)
La Rôtisserie de la Reine Pédauque is a historical novel by Anatole France, published in 1893.
It was also a restaurant at 6 rue de la Pépinière in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
The company was managed by MM. Pierre de Varga and Patrick Allenet de Ribemont, who were both prosecuted for complicity in the murder of Jean de Broglie, deputy for Eure, who had granted a loan of 4 million francs for the purchase of the restaurant.
Allenet had succeeded, on January 2, 1976, to Mrs. Monique André (whose signature facsimile on the title is recognized), remained a few months administrator and sued for the same facts.
If the motive for the murder was finally ruled out and the two accused were dismissed, they were charged with non-filing for bankruptcy, irregular accounting, use of ruinous financial means, embezzlement of assets and abuse of corporate assets.
The company was liquidated in 1977.
