Bearer share of 50 new francs issued in Maisons-Alfort (11, avenue Maréchal Leclerc) in 1954.

Originally an absinthe factory in 1875 in Paris, the activity was taken over by Fernand Moureaux, heir to the factory. He teamed up with Henri Porte, an industrialist from a family of bankers, with the idea of innovating in the field of wine-based aperitifs. They created a drink from the distillation of gentian roots, a large flower with golden petals, growing in the Jura and Auvergne. Fernand Moureaux received a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889.

The Suze factory was located from 1875 to 1974 in the town of Maisons-Alfort.
