Low issue of 1200 shares.
Created in 1878 by Jules Brasseur, 28 boulevard des Italiens, on the site of the former Fantaisies-Parisiennes (1865-1869) and Fantaisies-Oller (1876), the Théâtre des Novelties is devoted first to Vaudeville and operetta.
Its inauguration took place on June 12, 1878 with a great Vaudeville, Coco, de Clairville, Grange and Delacour. For several years, he achieved great success with numerous operettas and then with comic comedy.
On the death of Brasseur in 1890, the theater was taken over by his associate Henri Micheau. The theater must close in 1911, expropriated to build new buildings. The theater was then established at 24 boulevard Poissonnière, the address which appears on the title. The director is Benoît-Léon Deutsch, whose signature appears on the title.
