Very important cycle construction company before the First World War. With a very elaborate functioning like a kind of workers' city, with designers, foremen, employees, engineers, the SIA produced frames, spare parts, accessories and tires for bicycles. The S.I.A. was an association of independent companies (including the Hurtu and Rochet cycles) which shared factories, tools, hydraulic energy and their know-how, with the aim of rationalizing production.

The industrial site was destroyed during the First World War by the Germans, and the archives of the S.I.A destroyed.
