The company founded in 1945 by Henry John Kaiser and Joseph Frazer will take the name of Kaiser Motors Corporation when the latter retires, then in 1963 Kaiser-Jeep. The company disappeared in 1970, sold to the American manufacturer AMC (American Motors Corporation). AMC will build the Humvee and Hummer.
