The Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, founded in 1945 by Henry John Kaiser and Joseph Frazer, will take the name of Kaiser Motors Corporation when the latter withdraws, then in 1963 will be renamed Kaiser-Jeep. The company disappeared in 1970, sold to the American manufacturer AMC (American Motors Corporation). AMC will build the Humvee and Hummer.
