Automobile and moped factory in Bordeaux-Bastide. Company created in 1902 for the exploitation of Schaudel patents on the engine block. The system, which combined the engine, the clutch and the gearbox, was adopted by all the manufacturers of the time. Motobloc cars were entered in races such as Paris-Madrid in 1903 or the Monte-Carlo rally in 1911.

The company filed for bankruptcy in 1933, in competition with Renault and Citroën. Although the company was relaunched in 1934 by Marcel Bloch, the factory closed in 1961.
