In October 1917, the Stock Exchange triggered a first alert on the securities of companies sponsored by Banque Oustric, then on the 30th of the same month, trading was suspended. A few days later, Banque Oustric filed for bankruptcy and, in succession, Banque Adam and all the satellite companies. A complaint is filed and Oustric imprisoned.
