The purpose of this Society was the milk industry, the improvement of the dairy industry, various scientific experiments, sterilization, pasteurization, the manufacture, preservation, reconstitution, sale and purchase of milk, butter, cheeses and their products in their various forms, excluding casein, lactose, milk powders, milk residues and whey or using them.
