The purpose of the French Guiana Gold Dredging Company was to exploit, with the help of gold washer dredgers of a particular system, the auriferous creeks of Guyana which, because of their high water flow or even their low precious metal, had remained untouched by any exploitation, or had only been exploited by rudimentary and insufficient means for a complete capture of the metal.
