4.25% bond of 5000 francs issued in Paris in 1942, signed by two members of the Lesieur family (at least Maurice Lesieur).

Famous peanut oil refining house founded in 1908 by Georges Lesieur with his three sons Maurice, Paul and Henri. It was the first to sell returnable glass bottles.

Its logo composed of four red diamonds would symbolize the four founding members. We find the logo in the background on the title.

Head office 24 rue Joubert in Paris then 59 rue du Rocher. The factory was located in Coudekerque-Branche (near Dunkerque in the North).

In 1924, the company displayed the slogan "A single quality, the best", then in 1985 the famous "No error, it's Lesieur".

Today it is a subsidiary of the agro-industrial group Avril.
