After having created the first British bank in the Ottoman Empire, the Bank of Egypt, in 1856, Pierre Pasquali founded the Egyptian Financial Company with a capital of 30,000,000 francs in 1861 with the support of Hankey's of London.
Illustrated with a sphinx, an obelisk, a camel.
