Egyptian public limited company with registered office in Cairo with the aim of creating and operating factories and sugar refineries as well as all operations relating to the sugar industry in Egypt.

The company was created in 1893, after having bought the khedivial factories, with a capital shared between Suarès brothers and Cronier (on behalf of the Say Company).

From 1897, the capital is gradually held entirely by French interests.
