Receipt for a registered action of 1000 Bordeaux francs 19 Germinal Year 9 Republican (i.e. April 9, 1801) for the fitting out of the ship "L'Aventure", destined for Isle-de-France and shipped by J.B. Garrigou et Compagnie.

Registered to Mr. Besse son.

It was a copper corsair ship which remained French until 1810, then was put under English occupation. In 1814 it became "L'Ile Maurice".
