French aeronautical construction company founded in 1910 by the brothers Léon and Robert Morane and their childhood friend Raymond Saulnier, former collaborator of Louis Blériot. Their first flight takes place above Levallois-Perret.

The company filed for bankruptcy at the end of 1962 and was taken over by Henry Potez under the name Société d'Exploitation des Etablissements Morane-Saulnier (SEEMS), before being sold in 1965 to Sud-Aviation under the name of Socata, the Socata, la Société de Construction d'Avions de Tourisme et d'Affaires (Construction Company of Tourism and Business Aircraft).
