Jean Blanc, entrepreneur in Thonon, built a thermal establishment according to the plans of Louis Guyon. Thonon will indeed be considered as French spas by a decree of 1890. Thonon then takes the name of Thonon-les-Bains.

The company was founded in 1883 (notary Maître Dubouloz in Thonon) with a capital of one million francs. The object of the company is the exploitation of all mineral water sources known (source of the Versoie) or to be discovered belonging to Thonon, according to a concession granted by the city.

The company owned various establishments: hotels, villas, casino and the thermal establishment that it had subsequently acquired from the city and completely transformed. Stuckler was the hotel manager.

In 1892, the City granted the Société Anonyme des Eaux Minérales the exploitation of the waters, then of the thermal establishment. The Hotel du Parc and the Casino were created from 1901.

During the first war the establishment declined, the company being unable to recruit the necessary personnel mobilized for the war, it was forced to close in 1915. The city took the opportunity to withdraw the concession in 1916.

The thermal establishment, the hotel, the casino and the park were sold in 1923 to the Société des Grands Hôtels d'Evian.

The city bought the thermal establishment in 1927 and transformed it into shower baths. The casino closed its doors in 1929 while the Hôtel du Parc was transformed into private accommodation in 1942.
