The so-called Kerensky loans were issued under Alexander Kerensky, a Labor lawyer, minister of justice under the Duma, who became head of the provisional government formed after the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II and the Bolshevik revolution. It was a 3 billion ruble war loan also called "freedom loans". The loan is signed by representatives of the Minister-President.
Illustrated with the Palace of Tauride, seat of the Duma, then of the provisional government and of the Petrograd Soviet.
