The company was founded in 1843 by the French Alphonse Rallet.
The company has factories in Cannes-La Bocca, acquired from the old Jeancard perfumery.
Perfumery supplied the Imperial Court of Russia.
The perfumer counted among his employees Ernest Beaux, who will later be the creator of the famous No. 5 from Chanel.
The Rallet perfumery operated until 1925, the year of the sale of land and buildings to Aciéries du Nord.
