The Banque de Paris et des Pays was created in 1872, merged of Banque de Crédit et de Dépôt des Pays-Bas (founded in 1863 in Amsterdam) and Banque de Paris (founded in Paris in 1869 by Adrien Delahante, Edmond Joubert and Henri Cernuschi). Then merged with BNP (Banque Nationale de Paris) to form the BNP Paribas group.

Share of 500 francs to bearer unissued, dated 1921.
