The Société des Mines du Bleymard operated the lead-zinc ore veins of the commune of Le Bleymard, in the Lozère Cévennes. This mining region, whose activity dates back to Antiquity, experienced an industrial revival at the end of the 19th century and throughout the 20th century for its silver-bearing lead and zinc ore. The company, with a capital of 7,367,500 francs (of which 1,052,500 reimbursed), head office in Paris, was managed before Maître Thibierge, notary in Paris.

This fully paid-up Bearer Capital Share of Two Thousand Five Hundred Francs bears number 02.075 and was issued in 1945. The certificate has a sober decorative border in black watermark, a red dry company stamp, two original signatures (the chairman of the board and a director). Printed on quality paper. Very good overall condition, slight age patina. An interesting piece for collectors of French mining scripophily and the industrial history of the Cévennes.
