Elegant celadon-green certificate of the Compagnie Vinicole Champenoise, a public limited company with a capital of 450,000 francs, head office at 37 rue du Champ-de-Mars in Reims (Marne). Articles of association filed with Maître Vignes, notary in Troyes, on 14 January 1921. This company was part of the wave of Reims wine companies of the interwar period, a time of reconstruction of Champagne after the destruction of the First World War. The certificate, splendidly framed with late Belle Époque motifs, certifies two bearer shares of 100 francs each (numbered 1,315 to 1,316), fully paid up. Dated 22 August 1924 in Reims. Signatures of the two directors: Rivolet [to be verified] and Paul Forget [to be verified]. Registration stamp and fiscal stamp at the top right. Printed in intaglio, green and black inks well marked. Apparent condition: very good, firm paper, slight folds.
