F. Pozzo di Borgo, founder of the Company, came from a famous Corsican family wishing to establish an economic empire in Africa.

The value was listed on the Marseille Stock Exchange and the liquidation took place in 1925. In 1926, Charles Périnaud, merchant in French West Africa, took over from activities in Abidjan.

The company was then bought by the Société Commerciale de l'Ouest Africain (SCOA).

Beautiful design with portrait of F. Pozzo di Borgo in vignette and evocation of cities of Ivory Coast and Benin (formerly Dahomey): Toupa, Grand Bassam, Dabou, Porto-Novo, Adjohon, Avrankou and Cotonou.
