He founds "La Viscamine S.A". in 1928 for silk textiles. But the company fails and closes in 1931.

A new company, "La Viscamine", takes over the factories 1936, but stopps in 1939.

After ownership of the factories by Michelin in 1943, the "Houillères du Bassin de la Loire" in 1948, the place is bought by the French Ministry of National Education and finally oppens a high school in 1980: Lycée Pierre du Terrail.
