Design with swimmers in the background

Inaugurated in 1884 in the 10th arrondissement of the capital, the Chateau-Landon swimming pool was the first indoor and heated public swimming pool in Paris, and more generally in France. It was commissioned by the French Society of Nautical Gymnastics. The following swimming pools built in Paris in the 1930s in the Art Deco style are all 33 meters long: Edouard Pailleron, Buttes aux Cailles, Pontoise...

The Piscines de France company aims in particular to build the Molitor swimming pool and ice rink. Mr. Antoine Belverge, industrialist, is its director.
