Société des Editions et Imprimeries "Je Sers"
Share of 100F - Issy-les-Moulineaux 1930
Bearer share of 100 francs issued in Issy-les-Moulineaux (head office route de Clamart) in 1930.
The company "Je Sers" was founded in 1922 by Philémon Vincent and Jean Caudron. They wanted to bring together a bookstore, a publishing house and a printing press in the service of Protestant evangelization. A printing press was bought in Clamart where Philémon Vincent lived.
The members of the board of directors were H. Joseph and O. Béguelin whose signature can be seen on the document, then Hubert de Montbrison.
But the house, which had been financially supported by the Baptists, went bankrupt in 1932 as a result of the financial crisis of 1929, causing a stir in the Protestant world and the Parisian Baptist Church.
