The company had a concesssion granted by the department to Mr. Marchand for 75 years, for the construction and operation of a network of locomotive traction trams for the transport of passengers and goods from Romans to Tain, Dieulefit to Montélimar, Grand- Greenhouse in Saint-Vallier and Chabeuil in Valence.
The company signed for a second agreement in 1893 for new lines: from Chabeuil to Ste-Eulalie-en-Riyans via Bourg-de-Péage, from Saint-Donat to Tain and Romans, from Châtillon to Pont-de-Quart.
