Company authorized by Ordinance of the King, October 27, 1843.

At La Chazotte near La Talaudière, the company used the system developed in 1858 by Maximilien Évrard who invented a process for manufacturing chipboard briquettes for the railway. His machines were presented at the Universal Exhibition, 1867.
