Rue de Grammont  Ex- Circle.

This was the 1st Parisian Circle founded in 1919 by nobles who had emigrated and known the British clubs and circles while they stayed in London and which inspired them.

It was strictly reserved to men, like in England; 300 to 400 men of the Parisian upper class.

This Circle was dissolved by the Police in 1826, but the activity went on, and changed location in the same street several times.

End of the 19th century, it was the head-office of a newspaper directed by Edouard Drumont “La Libre Parole” (Free Speech”).

Very rare document.
