Société Française de Cinéma et de Photographie Films en Couleurs Keller-Dorian

1/10th of Founder Share - Paris 1928
Founder Share issued in Paris in 1928.
Head office 42 rue d'Enghein, Paris.
The company was founded by Albert Keller-Dorian (born in 1846 in Mulhouse) in 1923. A specialist in engraving, he relies on the Keller-Dorian process invented by Rodolphe Berthon in 1908 to market color films. Keller-Dorian died shortly after, in 1924. It was taken over by Léon and Charles Silvin. The company went bankrupt in 1930 and became the French Society of Cinematography and Photography via the Célestin group. Rodolphe Berthon decided to dissociate himself from it and founded the Société Française Cinéchromatique in January 1929.
Illustrated with a horseshoe and initials KD.
