Loan of 8.75 million francs or £350,000, represented by 17,500 bonds, authorized by the Law of November 18, 1909 (excerpt from the law on the back of the bond).

The loan was guaranteed by the product of the tax on salt and by the resources in the form of taxes or royalties resulting from the work to be carried out with the fund of the said Loan: sewer taxes, river navigation royalties.

After having been suspended and resumed several times, the service of the Brazilian Federal Debt was the object of three new arrangements starting in 1934.

The service of the Brazilian debt was again suspended in November 1937

The payment of the coupons and the redemption of the shares were to take place in Paris at the Société Marseillaise de Crédit Industriel et Commercial et de Dépôts, at the Banque Transatlantique, at the Crédit Foncier d'Algérie et de Tunbisie, at the Banque Commerciale et Industrielle, and in Brazil: at the London and Brazilian Bank Ltd in Rio de Janeiro. Title signed by the authorized representative of the State of Rio Grande do Norte.
