Fully paid-up bearer share of the Compagnie Belge des Mines, Minerais et Métaux, a public limited company with a share capital of 145,000,000 francs represented by 60,000 shares of no par value, representing the company's assets. Head office in Brussels. Certificate created after 6 October 1944 (mention "Certificate created after 6 October 1944" in a banner). Number 010088.

Established through successive deeds received by Maître Ferdinand Delaroix and Léon Decoop, notaries in Montbliart, between 1919 and 1955, the company consolidated Belgian mining and metallurgy activities active notably in the Belgian Congo and in the colonies, a strategic sector of the postwar Belgian economy.

The certificate, printed in blue on cream paper, features a classic border with entablature colonnades, a yellow cartouche mentioning the statutory dates. Two handwritten signatures of directors. The large sheet of coupons numbered no. 010088 remains fully attached (at least 30 coupons visible, in several columns).

Apparent condition: very good to superb, clean paper, complete set. An interesting piece for a mining, Belgium, Belgian Congo, or colonial-capitalism collection. A large issue volume so accessible, but the preservation of the complete coupon sheet is a notable asset.
