Société Générale des Panoramas Castellani

Share issued in Brussels in 1880, part of a small issue of 1250 shares. The object of the company was "the manufacture, purchase, sale, exploitation and exchange of panoramas or dioramas in Brussels and elsewhere".
Share certificate signed by the Belgian panoramic painter Charles Castellani (1838-1913), whose paintings were exhibited in the panoramas built during the universal exhibitions (1889, 1900).
The company was managed by Castellani and Jourdain (same shareholders as S.A. du Grand Panorama National Français).
This title is richly illustrated with coats of arms (Paris, Brussels, Italy, Spain), cherubs and animals (eagles, lion, unicorn).
Large size with all its coupons: 36x28 cm excluding coupons and 36x58 cm with coupons (one coupon was cut following a dividend that had to be paid).
