Mines located in the North-East of the Belgian Congo (which later became Zaire) near the Ituri River. These state-owned mines were located around Kilo and Moto.

The Régie Industrielle des Mines de Kilo-Moto was created by the Belgian government in 1911. In 1926, it became the Société Congolaise à responsabilité limitée des Mines d'Or de Kilo-Moto until 1966, when the Congo decided to dissolve the company.

These gold mines were one of the largest mines in Africa.
