Head office at the Municipal Casino of Nice, Place Masséna.

The casino was built in 1884 by Omer Lazard. The company was founded in 1902. Its purpose was to operate the Municipal Casino of the City of Nice and its annexes by the concessionary company, Armand et Cie. The Banque Populaire and the Cie des Chemins de Fer départementaux invested in the casino with Armand et Cie.

The Société Fermière des Casinos de Nice, operator of the casino, was directed by Pierre Ducis. After the Second World War, it was his son, Pierre-Jean Ducis, who took over the management of the establishment.

The 80-year concession expired in 1964. The municipality ceased the games and the building was razed in 1979 and transformed into gardens.
