This legendary Swiss company operates the Lötschberg tunnel (1913), linking Bern to Valais and Italy via the Simplon — a masterpiece of Alpine railway engineering. The certificate, bilingual German-French, is part of a share capital of 45 million Swiss francs, of which 21 million is in preferred shares. The design, soberly framed with black and red neo-classical motifs, highlights the "500" watermark in large figures in the lower corners. Issue number 22381, two authentic handwritten signatures at the bottom of the document.
