The company of Electrical Tramway of Epinal was founded by 3 men: Garnier, Hammer and Vicarino.

With its two lines: Gare – Poissompré via Place des Vosges and Pont de Golbey – Champ du Pin via the station, the Epinal tramway was in operation from 1906 until the First World War in 1914. Westinghouse transported passengers on just over 7 km of track.

The Epinal tramway, in deficit, was then replaced by a bus network.
