Russian public limited company, incorporated in 1866, for a period expiring on December 24, 1955, initially under the name of Kursk-Kiev Railway Company. The company changed its name in 1893.

The purpose of the company was to operate the following railway lines, granted to the Company by the Imperial Government of Russia:

- Kursk-Kiev line
- broad-gauge railway line from Bryansk to Moscow
- line from Kiev to Poltava
- and Kursk-Voronezh line, as well as various local narrow gauge railways.

The head office was located in Moscow.

The Board of Directors consisted of: Messrs. Kokovtzoff, Perevoznikoff, Guennert, Poliakoff, S.Erine.

Loan of 27,780,000 Rbl, Second serie.
