Extract from the statutes on the back of the title: company formed by Stephen Marc, concessionaire, whose purpose was the operation of a railway from Alais to the Rhône, as well as a branch from Salindres, on the line from Alais to Béssèges ending at the Plans station, the creation and operation of a river and maritime navigation service between the river station of the Alais railway and the Mediterranean.
