Share of 2500F - Paris
Capital 151,560,000F
The mine was operated from 1906 to 1955 with a production of 10,900 kg of gold. At the same time, a real gold rush took place in Maine-et-Loire (Mines de la Bellière) and Limousin (Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche). The production lasted until 1955.
Only the Salsigne mine then remained in activity until 1991 to close in 2004.
The activity was relaunched in 1975 with the rise in the price of gold.
A potential of around 7000 kg has recently been discovered in the Creuse.
