Bearer land bond at 3% interest issued in Paris in 1926 (head office 19, rue des Capucines).

Public limited company with initial capital of 25 million francs, founded in 1852 under the name Banque Foncière de Paris by Xavier Branicki (1816-1879).

The name became Crédit Foncier de France the same year. Louis Wolowski, a Polish-born naturalized Frenchman, was its general director until 1854.

From 1858, the Crédit Foncier de France granted loans on behalf of the State and, from 1860, financed local authorities through municipal bonds. The company thus took part in Baron Haussmann's construction works. It later financed schools.

It would later develop mortgage loans and found the guarantee company Crédit Logement.

The company was later taken over by the Caisse d'Épargne group. From February 2019, Crédit Foncier stopped issuing loans and the brand disappeared.
