Today nicknamed Ile aux Mille Senteurs, Ile Sainte Lucie is located in Aude.

The island takes its name from the monastery founded in 1614 dedicated to this Saint.

The archbishops of Narbonne transformed the island into a center of agricultural production and stone quarries for the construction of their palaces and the Cathedral of Saint Just Pasteur.
