Action 100 F Compagnie Vinicole Champenoise Reims 1924 N°0664 Violet
Share 100 F, Compagnie Vinicole Champenoise, Reims 22 August 1924, No. 0664. Purple border. Champagne scripophily, antique paper.
Third color variant of the same issue by the Compagnie Vinicole Champenoise: here the purple/aubergine border signals the single-unit denomination — one bearer share of one hundred francs, fully paid up. A public limited company with a capital of 450,000 francs, head office at 37 rue du Champ-de-Mars in Reims (Marne), articles of association filed with Maître Vignes, notary in Troyes, on 14 January 1921. Number 0664, dated 22 August 1924 in Reims. Signatures of the two directors in office, subscription fiscal stamp and registration stamp visible. Printed in intaglio on watermarked paper, border with Belle Époque floral motifs. Apparent condition: very good, firm paper, well-marked inks, slight archive folds. The purple/blue/green variants of the same design allow collectors to assemble a magnificent triptych for serial collecting. A piece particularly sought after by enthusiasts of Champagne-region scripophily, Reims, or as an original gift. Ideal framed for a wine merchant, sommelier, or champagne enthusiast wanting authentic vintage decor.
