Priority share issued in Paris in 1911. Capital divided into 2000 shares only.

Company founded on May 2, 1911 by the brothers Henry and René-Emile Bossière (signature on the share) who set up a whaling station, a breeding farm and coal mining there with Norwegians. Quickly, they also develop their activities on the islands of Saint-Paul and Amsterdam.

They try to import sheep that die in transit. As whaling proved unsuccessful, the Société des Îles Kerguelen ceased operations in 1913.

The brothers went bankrupt and both died the same year in 1941.
