Company founded in 1899 by Henry Myron Blackmer (1869-1962) who became the richest millionaire of Cripple Creek in Colorado (Teller county), land of many gold diggers. He will then invest in oil in Wyoming. Caught in a huge financial scandal, he goes into exile in France to escape justice.
