The Company was created in 1919 by a group of industrialists, mostly airmen during the First World War, including Henri Balleyguier (1887-1969), polytechnician, engineer of the Manufactures des tabacs, who was administrator of the CAF. We find Balleyguier's handwritten signature on the share.

The company was active from 1919 to 1938. It notably served Biarritz, Pau, Arcachon, Royan. One of his seaplanes was named the Schreck. The price was not much higher than the railway. In 1929, its fleet had 100 aircraft and operated on 25 bases, including 20 in France, the others being located in the colonial empire in Asia and Africa.

The company also did photo-topography and industrial photography, and produced many city maps.
