Pierre-Victor Continsouza develops in his workshops in the Belleville district in Paris, various cinematographic devices on behalf of Pathé: 35 mm camera, film printer, film punch machine, English model projector (1908) and the famous projector Reinforced Pathé (1905).

After the war, the Ets Continsouza established itself at 403 rue des Pyrénées in Paris, but Continsouza decided to buy the site of the La Marque factory in Tulle, to produce Pathé cinema equipment, Contin typewriters and as bicycle parts.

At the Factory of La Marque will be produced Pathé Baby systems.

In 1929 major financial maneuvers turned the film industry upside down. The Continsouza Establishments depend on the National Credit Bank (B.N.C.) to which they are debtors as well as the Gaumont company and the Aubert-Franco Film company which itself resulted from the merger of the Louis Aubert Establishments and Franco Film.

This ends on June 12, 1930 with the merger of these 3 companies which become Gaumont-Franco-Film-Aubert. This is how the company name Ets Continsouza disappears.
