Glassworks located to the south of the village of Cepoy, on the edge of the Loing canal, upstream from Montargis.

At the beginning of 1940, a gathering center for German and foreign nationals from Loiret was created in Cepoy. It occupies the buildings of the disused factory in Montenon. The place will also serve as a transit camp for prisoners of the Paris military prison.
